The use of passivation agent makes the surface of aluminum form a dense aluminum oxide film, which has corrosion resistance and protects the aluminum in the inner layer from corrosion.
Passivation is to make the metal surface exhibit extremely low reactivity. Aluminum is a lively metal. From the perspective of its reducibility, it should be easy to interact with oxygen and water, but it does not work with both at room temperature. This is because a layer of oxide film is formed on the surface of aluminum to passivate the surface of aluminum.
