Description

In the field of valve applications, the bushing is inside the valve cover, and corrosion-resistant materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene or graphite are generally used for sealing.
Between the two friction surfaces, it is completely separated by the fluid film of the lubricant, and the external load is balanced by the pressure of the fluid film, so that the movement friction of the two friction surfaces becomes the internal friction of the fluid, which is called fluid film lubrication. Fluid film lubrication is an ideal lubrication state.
There are two ways to form fluid film lubrication, one is hydrostatic lubrication, and the other is hydrodynamic lubrication.
Hydrostatic lubrication: is to inject a certain pressure of liquid lubricant into a special cavity between two friction surfaces, and then the lubricant overflows through the surface gap around the cavity to form a fluid film static pressure between the two friction surfaces. Separate the two friction surfaces to achieve hydrostatic lubrication. This method is suitable for the lubrication of hydrostatic bearings or parallel low-speed movement of two friction surfaces, and is not suitable for the lubrication of point-line and other high pair contact, such as the lubrication of gear transmission.
Hydrodynamic lubrication: liquid lubricant is injected into the entrance of the two friction surfaces. The relative movement speed between the two friction surfaces draws the lubricant into the working area of the friction surface to generate dynamic pressure, forming a fluid dynamic pressure to separate the two friction surfaces. , Realize hydrodynamic lubrication. This method is suitable for the lubrication of conjugate friction surfaces with a certain speed of movement. Therefore, it is suitable for the lubrication of gear transmission.
