Medical titanium alloy is used to manufacture titanium alloys that are implanted in the human body for medical devices, prostheses or artificial organs and auxiliary treatment equipment. There are mainly titanium 6 aluminum 4 vanadium, titanium 5 aluminum 2.5 tin and other alloys. They have high specific strength, mechanical properties close to human bones, strength far better than pure titanium, and also have the characteristics of fatigue resistance, corrosion resistance and excellent biocompatibility.
Advantages of nickel plating
1. It has high hardness and high wear resistance. In the deposited state, the coating hardness is 400-600HV. After reasonable heat treatment, it can reach 1000-1100HV. Tests have shown that it has abrasion resistance equivalent to hard chromium under dry and lubricated conditions. Therefore, it can be used to replace high-alloy materials and hard chrome plating.
2. It has excellent corrosion resistance. The corrosion resistance of the NI-P alloy layer chemically deposited by acid plating solution is superior to that of alkaline plating solution. It has good corrosion resistance in salt, alkali, ammonia and seawater. The 50~125μm coating can be used as parts on ships or oil drilling platforms to resist the corrosion of marine climate.
